The problem
Black-owned businesses are hard to find through general search and map apps, and community lists go out of date quickly.
Owners needed a way to put their business on the map and keep their listing accurate themselves.
What we built
- A native iOS and Android app with guest browsing, saved favourites and accounts
- Category browsing, from food and restaurants to health, retail and professional services
- Business profiles with photos, ratings, directions, one-tap calls and website links
- Owner sign-up and phone-number verification, so businesses can claim and confirm their listing
What changed
People find Black-owned businesses near them in a few taps.
Owners can claim, verify and update their own listing.
